HKEAIA interview Defond Chairman Mr. Wilson Chu
Hong Kong Electrical Appliance Industries Association (HKEAIA) interviewed Defond Chairman Mr. Wilson Chu to share his vision of corporate strategy during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Wilson Chu decided to take the initiative to review corporate structure, shortening internal processes, speeding up decision-making, hiring new staff, managing stock strategically as well as looking for different sources of materials.
With the swift responses, Defond manufacturing plants became the first batch of factories approved by the Chinese government to resume work in early February last year.

HKEAIA was established in July 1998 as a non-profit-making organization and a representative body of Hong Kong’s electrical appliance industry. With more than 200 members at present, the objective is to improve the industry by enhancing the communication, interaction and co-operation among members and conveying the collective opinions to government bodies, industrial or trade organizations.
