Defond joins Open Connectivity Foundation’s (OCF) China Forum to promote smart living
With IoT technology getting more and more accessible, connected devices are gaining popularity, impacting people’s daily life. However, each major brand are developing their own connection standard, slowing down the pace of market adoption. OCF, being the world’s largest IoT international standard alliance, is dedicated to establish a common ground for IoT devices interconnectivity. Prestigious OCF members include Microsoft, Haier, Midea, Gree, LG, Hisense, Skyworth, Huawei, OPPO, Unicom, etc.
Defond joined OCF’s China Forum as its corporate member to promote IoT standardization. OCF standard removes the limitation of OS, chips or physical media choices for connected devices, enabling more home appliance manufacturers to access the smart home ecosystem.
