To promote technology advancement of the industry through resources sharing, Defond joined the Guangdong Robotic Association, Dongguan Robotic Industries Association as well as the Shenzhen Robotic Industries Association.

Defond is elected as the 1st Session Executive Committee Member of the “Guangdong Provincial Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Research Assessment and Innovation League” on September 5, 2019.
On October 17, 2019, Defond participated in the “Pearl River Delta Intelligent Manufacturing Forum and the Second Member Congress of the Association” led by Dongguan Science and Technology Association and Dongguan Robotics Industries Association, where industry experts gathered at the event to discuss exciting topics under warm and cheerful atmosphere.
Dongguan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau awarded Defond “Technician Work Station” honor title, which came together with a RMB100,000 grant for three consecutive years. Candidates of the award went through a strict audit processes including documents and onsite audit by experts on facilities, management system and workflow. Only 30 companies received the honor.
22 carefully selected companies were invited to participate in “Technoshare 2019”, an exclusive Supplier Conference held by Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) in their headquarter, with Defond proudly as one of the honored invitees.
Defond brought its innovative products and presented the latest intelligent manufacturing and R&D capabilities during the event.
Defond in-house laboratory successfully passed UL’s audit and obtained the new edition IEC-CTF3 and UL-CTDP certifications.
130 laboratories participated in this year IFM International Proficiency Test Project IFM PTP (19e31 – Tracking Test). Only 73 (56%) passed all test items, and Defond’s laboratory is one of the few that received excellences on all results.
Defond was invited to the 7th session meeting of The Electrical Accessories of Standardization Administration of China – Appliances and Switches Sub-committee. The meeting was held in Wuhan on November 12 and 13, 2019, with 88 committee members and representatives participated.
Panasonic (Shanghai) annual procurement exchange meeting was held in New Century Hangzhou Grand Hotel on December 3, 2019, where Defond Sales Director Mr. Silas Yuen and his team attended.
In the event, Panasonic awarded Defond “Outstanding Supplier Award” to affirm fifteen years of successful collaboration and appreciation for Defond’s innovative modules launched in 2019.
